any other paint scheme for PT-19?


hi everyone...
is there any other paint scheme other than the famous, blue and yellow for the PT-19?

There aren't a whole lot of official schemes.. here's the three most common...

According to a flying buddy who was an war-time instructor on these airplanes, the blue, yellow, with striped tail was the pre-war paint scheme. When war broke out, they saved time and paint by omitting the training colors.

do you think it is okay to use the MEGA 3 turns in a Kyosho fan? will it throw a blade or two???

oopppss...please ignore the last posting!!!

was wanting to ask if anybody can tell me is the wing of the PT-19 fabric covered, and is the fuselage also fabric covered???

The wing is plywood sheeted, covered with fabric.
The fuselage is covered with fabric, except for the aft top, which is painted aluminum from behind the aft cockpit to just in front of the vertical.

thanks Sparky.....finally she is ready for covering....sorry everyone....she is a slimer.....sometimes one just cannot resist the sound of a 4 stroke engine flying by....
