I was recently requested by a well known Hobby Shop to send them copies of the face of my driver's licence and the face of my credit card by email before processing my order.

Has anyone heard of this before. I refused to send them and bought from another source.

I've had to send a scan of an ID to get some bike parts from a place in Canada before.

Go fast, pull up.
Fidelity101's Avatar is the best place to report fraud.

If you lost money during the fraud, I would also report it to your local FBI office. Easiest way to find this is to do a google search for FBI "your city, state"

Looks like BajaFanatic is one to look out for. I sent him my HPI Vorza flux with lipo's and a charger and in trade he was supposed to send me a Baja 5t. Well he has now admitted to scamming. I have contacted the local police in his area. I has also contacted the USPS and the Canadian Postal Inspector. Looks like this is something that is not taken lightly. Everyone keep your guard up.
