Midwest AT-6 Texan - 1.20 size KIT - NIB
I am selling a brand new Midwest AT-6 Texan Kit that was purchased about 11 months ago. Never taken out of the box except to ogle some of the parts. (Retail: $299 + tax and shipping). This is a LARGE BOX of materials - 48"L and 20+ pounds !!!. If you wish insurance, you may pay extra for that. This is a great deal. You will not find this kit cheaper. I have no time to build it so my loss is your gain.
Wing Area: 1000 sq in
Suggested Flying Weight: 10-15 lbs
Engine (NOT INCLUDED): .90-1.20 2 Stroke, 1.20-1.60 4 Stroke
Radio (NOT INCLUDED): 5 Channels for Retracts
$200 plus $25 shipping and insurance if you want it.
Payment by paypal (non-credit/debit card), check, money order. No children taken in trade.
Sure. You could put the BME 50 on it. However, it is rated to fly scale with a OS/YS 1.20 or at the most an OS 160 Twin or a Saito 182 twin. Your BME 50 might be just a bit overkill - both in weight and power. If you had a Ziroli or Yellow Aircraft Texan your BME would be a perfect fit.
If you're seriously interested in the kit I do have an offer (but have not yet received payment) for this on another site. I would sell if you used an online payment.
