9 cells on 6 volt speed 400?
Is it ok to run 9 cells on my twin speed 400 6 volt aero commander? i usually been runnin 7 cell 1400s but i got a new 9 cell 800 ar pack made up what do u think?.

It probably depends on what props you are using, and hence what the current draw will be. My 6v 400s (Twin Jet, Twin Star) are already pulling about 14A each (static) on 8x2400 cells ... going to a 9 cell pack would probably fry them pretty quickly! But if you only use full power in short bursts you may get away with it. If you do burn them out then I'd replace them with 480s, which would be fine on 9 cells.

I don't use 800 ARs, but I thought they were high power (low resistance) cells. Would a 9 cell pack really not deliver enough current to toast a 6v S400??

I don't know much about these cells but they sure pack a punch and when i charged the pack the other day they took 1300 mahs
