How do I get rid of control horn, pushrod slop?

I have a lot of movement between the z-bend and the control horns. What should I use to get rid of the slop. I was thinking some shrink tubing unless there is a more common cure for this. What do you use? If this isn't clear enough: The diameter of the hole in the control horn is much larger than the diameter of the pushrod. It creates a lot of play in the control surfaces.

Thanks,

Joe

I use those little retainers (forget what they're called), they snap through the control horn and have a tiny set screw to hold the control wire in place. Makes adjustments much easier too.

FX1SUB,

The heat shrink sounds good. I've also used other types of tubing. I've also filled in the hole with 30 min epoxy and drilled another hole. Be sure to use enough hardner so the epoxy sets up hard.

I've also successfully used square toothpicks on up to and including 400 sized planes. Then I can drill my own holes.

Now I use pull/pulls almost exclusively.

Shrink tube works fine, I've got it on several control horns.
