Will it actually be out in a few days or is that just wishful thinking?

Never know untill they are in the hands of the Hobby Stores but things sound good for the timely release.

got an email saying if I still wanted it, they're shipping real soon..

should be a neat little plane to beat on.

seeing the manual and closeup shots though, foam is looking gws-ish

was hoping for a better finish out the box,but if it flies good and looks ok @ 10' cool

decent price too .

have an unused AXI 2808 with some 3s 2100's that should be fine

take care ~

The Horizon Hobby site now says "In Stock"...

Has anybody had a chance to examine one up close yet?

They had one at the JR Indoor Fly in at Columbus, Ohio. Looked to be a nice flyer, they flew it around during a Vendor Demo time. Finish is "GWS" quality as mentioned.

I looked at it last night at the LHS.

I like the size, and some of the appearance effects. But I also dislike the foam choice. Some have said it looks like a GWS, but I think it looks like a rough foam cooler.

It has possibilities, but I'll wait for now (Still have to get the parts for my Alfa P-51B/C)

I will be interested to hear/read the flight reports.

but it's a nice obsession

We just got ours yesterday. It's beautiful and looks very well made. It comes mostly built including having the motor mount stick installed as well as the aileron horns. Looks like the E-Flight folks did a great job on this one.

Poked around in the box at the LHS today. Very nice details, including bombs, etc. Larger than either a GWS or Alfa. Foam is slightly better than GWS, not close to Alfa. The paint is very nice, however. Big and solid enough that it could be glassed sucessfully, it seemed. A couple ounces of glass and the right motor would make it a screamer.

You have the same idea I do after seeing one lastnight. Put some .56 cloth and WPU on this plane with a typhoon outrunner and you get one nice plane.
