sorry Tram... were you asking what kind of plane?? G-21 Goose the retractabel floats were a mod that many did... added 12kts to the cruise speed

Sorry to hijack the thread but here's mine (own design). Sorry for the bad pics but white on white doesn't look that great. It will be painted up like C-FGIB (below) eventually.

Ha..ha.. Sorry guy's I either took a stomic virus or food poisening. I've been sick as a dog for a few days. I just love it when people contribute so much to a thread. Scott, those pics of your plane help a lot. Esp. the flaps and float struts. The beaver is basically framed, except for finishing the cowl, centersection, and bolting on the wing. Then I can do the insert planking.

I was basicly just checking parts fit and such, and noting details on the plans, for Mark. She won't be finished till he comes out with the float kit. And the way winter will be here soon, I don't forsee any "off the ice" flying. I hate the cold!

lol.. then WHY did you ever think of trading hurricanes for blizzards?? at least you can tootle around in your shorts in a hurri!!!

glad to see your back in the saddle... seems to be a bit of food poisioning going around ( I think its the flu in disguise)

Hey Steve -- glad your back on the forum and I'm looking for more on the Beaver. Also hope the floats come along soon. So -- you didn't munch on any red tide cohaugs did you??
