I just ordered a Hacker master 77amp speed controller from Kirk over at New Creations. I was a little nervous about trying to put 51 amps on my other Hacker Master controller because it is only rated for 40 amps.

My question is what kind of amp draw are you guys out there putting on the various 40 amp brushless speed controllers (Hacker Master, Kontronik, Kontronik Beat, Jeti or any others out there) I am very interested to see how far some of you are pushing these babies. How far over the rating can these controllers go.

A friend of ours runs a Phasoar 30-3 with 40 amp jeti controler on 10 cells 12x8 prop on a Bandit draws 52 amps hot off the charge.

Goodtill is running a phasoar 30-3 jeti 40 esc on 8 cells and a 12x10 prop at 41 amps hot off the charge.

i'm running 44A peak thru my MGM TMM 40e-3ph. it gets pretty hot, but i haven't let the smoke out yet
