cool, a fresh thread to talk about my new moth build in ....oh this is going to be good!!

Kitty came up with the idea of doing it up in an Eveready Battery theme, so now I'm searching the net for old Eveready stuff. I think a battery theme would be fitting for an electric moth.

Ok after doing a little searching I came up with this picture, and I like the looks of the moto and logo to put on the plane, I just have to figure out how I would paint it, it would have to be blue and red, and somehow look "Eveready-ish"

Considering it is a Tiger Moth, I think that the Eveready cat would be more apropriate.

Luke, Good luck! Hope you don't get in too much trouble.

Ozprey, I agree with you there buddy! The Cat would be a getter subject for this plane, and it is a Kitty!

Hey Stu, here is some vintage Eveready stuff for ya as well to think bout paint schemes. I am shocked that the Brands of the world site didn't have the Eveready cat! Enjoy! The EPS files will open with Pain Shop Pro or Photoshop.

after reading some of Evereadys old slogons, maybe I could put something across the wings like "Power your Moth with EVEREADY Moth Batteries"

"Eveready, the airborne solution to sustained flight"
“Eveready, power and performance with altitude to spare”
“Fly Eveready, feel the difference”
“Eveready airlines”

OK, now I’m becoming obsessed with this Eveready moth thing ….

I need to go fix my ex wife’s computer, I’ll be back

LOL, I'm just going to let those slogans just lay where they are at. We all could get a lot of mileage out of that one.

how about "Get off the ground with Eveready Batteries" "take flight with Eveready" "Get airborne with Eveready"

man, I really need to get a life ....I'm going to have Eveready stuck in my brain all day.

you know, this is all Kitty's fault, she's the one that came up with the idea of doing the plane in an Eveready theme.

I've been eyeballing a glow moth up at the hobby shop, I REALLY want one, but the ol budget just don't allow ....oh heck, to put it in simple terms, I'm married with kids ...I'll have to settle for the little electric at least till I retire ..then WATCH OUT!!

Hey I'm doing pretty good, it only took me an hour to fix my ex's computer, I'm on line with it now making sure it's going to work properly when I give it back to her

I think I would make it a road kill cat. No I wouldn't. I like cats. I have one.

Maybe just glue some black fur around the cowl to represent what happened.
