Peri, I haven't seen a Mini Laser 3D and, as the designer of the Switchback, I'm afraid I'm biased so I won't comment on a comparison. I would like to suggest you ask this question in the ParkFlyer forum. I can't recall if any of my customers are Laser owners. Feel free to email me if you have questions regarding the Switchback.

Hello PERI:

Both Mini Laser 3D and Switchback 3D are excellent kits. However, IMHO, I will take the Switchback 3D because of the constant improvement by Doug at Mountain Models. Also, you can choose different power systems to fit your flying style.

Having built both the big Laser 3-D and the Switchback, I'd have to give the switchback the nod. The design of the Switchback makes for an exceptionaly easy and quick build, and if you have any questions the designer will usually answer this board within 24 hours. The mini Laser might be different, your milage may vary...
