Onboard Video.... small.... light.... affordable

Good day guys,

E-flightline is happy to announce that we now are a Multipod dealer.

These little self contained video cameras are truly amazing. Here are a couple of links to our first few videos we shot this past week end at an all electric flyin and show.

this link will take you to the Multipod page and just click on any of the three plane pix to see video

To attach the camera to the plane we just used some painters tape with a small piece of velcro attached (that was you dont damage the plane getting it off). We exerimented with different locations. We even had it out at the wing tip of a 27% Extra 260 and it performed a complete IMAC sequence and the camera didnt even budge.

See the pix below to get a good idea of just how small these units are. They weigh in at just 3/4 of an ounce.

The interface is a USB port (just like a jump or flash drive). The camera charges right from the USB port. We shot 8 videos without the low battery coming on so we are not sure just how many vids you can get out of one charge.

I know Im forgetting to mention a ton of stuff about the multipod so please just shot with any questions.

Looks pretty good. Nice and small! Price is not too bad. Mounting is easy enough and the thing is light enough to mount just about any place without getting into CG issues.

You guys won't believe how cool these cameras are! The quality of the video is incredible, and the camera is so small, your only limit is your imagination.
At last weekends 2005 Washougal Equinox Electrics Air Show we took about an hour of onboard video from every angle we could think of. I even edited some footage of my SR Eindecker, a scratch built Fokker D6 and a Pacific Aeromodels Tiger Moth into a 5 minute old fashioned movie. What a hoot! This little camera is the most fun I have had with RC yet!!!

By the way, I have to give credit where it is due. Bomberguy turned me onto this little gem of a camera with his cool B24 video. If you watch his video, you will see his editing skills far surpass mine!
I don't think Pixar or Lucas Films have anything to worry about...but what a blast to play with this camera! I always wanted to know what it would be like to fly IN my planes!
