For sale is a Blade 450X with Spektrum BeastX flybarless controller. This can be shipped one of two ways, in its original box, buyer pays full shipping, or I can disassemble with tail boom, blades and landing gear off to pack into smaller box and I would cover part of shipping. As the pictures show it does come with some spare parts. See pics for what is there. All electronics operate normally, including the Beast X. Full disclosure. Here goes........after several years of heli-less modeling, I felt the urge to get back into it via a 450 sized heli. This heli was at a swap meet, and the seller said it was "lightly used". I let my zeal get the best of me and I did not inspect it too well before handing over the cash. Well......I have built and rebuilt enough electric and glow helis to know better.....and if I had done even a cursory inspection I would have realized that " lightly used" was a misnomer.
Among some other minor things, I had to also redo the tail servo mounting and set up, replaced the feather shaft and main shaft, tail rotor main gear, changed out the main and tail blades, and tried my best at resetting the linkages to the rotor head. While it is in basic flying condition, and I have flown it several times, there are still a few things that I just don't want to try to troubleshoot any more. Mainly, the tail rotor has a wobble........not a gyro type wag, but a wobble like a balance or sloppy linkage issue. Plus, try as I might, It just seems almost impossible to get a normal sized 2200 mah battery installed with the canopy. The canopy seems way too tight, and actually pushes the battery up against the motor. The rubbing line on the motor is from my last flight, no damage was done to the motor, but it almost ruined by battery. The canopy has two holes cut into it to help the fit, but it is still pretty difficult to fit the battery in there.



After realizing I spent too much for this thing, I just want to cut my losses and get it out of here. Hopefully someone has a 450X that they need spare parts for and this would be a good chance. I am trying to be as open as possible to its condition.
Price is $140.00 OBO plus actual shipping costs in original box. If one is looking for a parts buy, then I will disassemble as mentioned and ship in a smaller box for an agreed upon smaller shipping cost. That decision will be up to the interested buyer, and we can discuss shipping amounts via PM.
