Question

Hobby Lobby's "Revo CP" Micro Heli

I've done a search on the forum for this and I can't find anything. Does anyone have any prior knowledge of this 24" heli that Hobby Lobby is selling: http://www.hobby-lobby.com/revo.htm?

Does appear similar but pics are not very large. Could be a Shogun with a few upgrades such as the frame and ball links. I'd bet a Shogun V1 for $60 to $70 and upgrade before spending $150 here, would end up with more heli for less money. If you are going to spend $150 go TRex.

This looks like a much different heli. It uses the Raptor style pitch control. Also The canonpy is kinda cool. Looks like the Quick World wide helis. Maybe this is really different. We'll find out soon.

It looks like a Zoom, but it has mCCPM and ball links in the head and a fiberglass frame. Hmm... Who makes it?

Hmmmm, missed the CCPM so it isn't a simply shogun clone. Maybe there is something to this. Anyone bought one yet? With respect to who makes it we can only hope Hobby Lobby knows better than to rep anything with "cyber" in the name

Actually it could be a Shogun with a few changes such as CCPM. There is I think a CCPM frame for the Shogun. Wish I could see some better pics.

This is the mCCPM version of the heli that I have and showed in this thread

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=404846

I have the latest eCCPM version so Hobby Lobby must still have stock of the old version.

I'm quite impressed with 95% of this heli - except for the tail gears which do strip. I'm looking to do a belt conversion on mine.

Out of the box mine was well balanced and tracked spot on. Only had to adjust the swash linkages.
