probably would work, give it a try. My dad used to ask me (sometimes still does) How many ways are there to skin a cat? Always one more.

Ok, got it off. I think the motors screwed though, theres a ton of friction between the bell and the strator.

I got one that needs bearings. You can have it if you want it. Maybe you can take the can off it and use it.

check the outer edges of the stator for loose magnet pieces.

lol skunk that's funny. hey xray did you get friction only after you removed the shaft? if so that's just the mags grabbing the stator. if the motor is screwed maybe you can salvage something. who knows.

hes ordering a new motor, not bits for a motor, i think he will be fine after hes got the new motor.

the stator might be a nice piece to get bearings or something out of if the new motor has the same size bearings. otherwise, its (a very tiny bit of) wasted space.

dont go and smash your next sweet little motor with some pliers ehh?

;p

xray238, Apologies for the post. I thought you were trolling due to the similar threads on the same page. Clearly you are not, nor is this thread useless. On post count, those numbers mean little. High post #'s do not equate to knowledge, I read them all.

Thanks, I appreciate that, lets move on. How about closing the thread?

I got a new motor, all is well. I pretty much destroyed the motor on dissassembly. Thanks for the help on this on guys.
