Suggestions for power setup for this Mig 15 profile


i don't have alot of motors,but i wanna know what you guys think is a good set up for this project.

A/E/T

tractor or pusher? don't have a powerful enough EDF unit for it.

How about the old venerable BP-21. That should give it good economical scoot. It looks to be difficult to set this mig up as a pusher due to the overhanging vertical stab / rudder. I like these simple DPF style builds. Are there any plans available? As they always say in the adds, "now you just need an F-86 Sabre to recreate you own Mig Alley". Good Luck, and keep ua posted.

Sno I'm thinking tractor... Kind tuff to get a prop under the tail fin on the Mig and Sabre jets.....should fly pretty wicked with a good CD on the front..........ya' won't know till' ya' try...........keep us posted the profile looks great.

You can give one of our little motors a try! It should keep the weight down and give you lots of power

Allthough the EDF is more jet-like and less prop-like, I'd have to go along with EWO as far as simplicity/ weight ..... Cool Plane Dude !!!!Best of Luck !!!!

Sno how ya' gonna balance it???? I think your gonna need to put the edf unit farther back...

that's what i thought,but with the battery near the TE of the wing and the recieveraft of that it's close but i think it should work.
