V-77 Stinson

Sometimes my job does have some perks. Last week while doing some training the guy who was doing it (Rene) said well since the airplane is broke maybe we can fly the Stinson. Now how can you refuse a 1946 Gull winged airplane.

Well the airport is at 6800 feets MSL and I weigh in at 237 pounds its 80 degrees so I get to go first since it is getting warm. See Being the big guy does payoff sometimes. Believe me we used all the runway. A nice grass stip about 3000 feet long.

Round engine and a taildragger. It just doesnt get any better than this.

Here are the stills and video
