Hi Guys, this is my first post here 👋

I've built only one wooden boat so far - a Miniwerft K-425 in 1:10 scale. This was my first time planking a deck and doing an epoxy finished. Turned out ok me thinks.

It is mostly mahogany with some light ply in the structure. The planks are teak, and the caulking is a thin black material that is used in making guitars (cannot recall the name)

Thanks Bill, STRUMPET II does have quite a history tied to it. We are going to do a video at TCTV Media this winter of the history and the model for public television. jerryj98501
