Very good day today at Bluff...12 to 12-16 mph, a little SE, but very flyable. Been a month or so since it was this nice....Dan and Henry, and I had a good day.

Bluff's 17-19 mph at 1:00, 21-22 mph at 2:00, when I left after just an hour, all SW. Hated to leave it's been a long time since I had good wind at the Bluff. Tom, Dan, and Harry were all there also, a good day at the Bluff's.

Jart

Tom,
Is that a Jart I see in the back ground. You keep hitting the right days, I need to maiden my SuperHawk so I'll have to pay more attention.

Tom,
Very Nice! Those are unattainable. What was the wind chill factor?

I am guessing 50 degrees...

Flew Dogs today, too west at Bluff. ..Flew a wing warrior and a Moth...25 mph wind, even colder than yesterday, couldn't rake more than and hour...wasn't fun....

Bluff Park flyers, Hello my name is Mike

Hello

I am Mike
I live in South El Monte
The closest ridge lift spot nearest me happens to be Temple Hill, but Temple Hill doesnít seem to be a super popular spot with lots of other flyers. That is both good and bad. Good in that there isnít a lot of competition for space, lots of flying space. Bad in that I am a social person and not much of a loner, no friends to make and share the good times with.

Bluff Park is great, but 20 miles of traffic away from me.
But parking and access to the car is much better, and the grassy landing zone is much better, and their are actually other flyers to make friends with and share the time with.

Also;
I am the guy that bought the rights to the Richard Jarel Telos & Crossbow designs, I am producing the kits in my garage. If you guys are at all interested in learning about laying up composit fiber glass carbon fiber fuselages or vacuum bagging wings let me know. Come hang out.

I recently bought the Soloshot3 camera system that is supposed to automatically track items in motion (such as R/C airplanes) and auto telefocus and auto focus. Itís supposed to be really cool, and I would like to test the camera system out by videoing your flights before trying to fly my own planes and videoing my flights. I just want to concentrate on understanding the camera system for a bit.
