I love the Disney Nautilus, probably one of the best looking subs around.

Nemo, a quick question, on your website (which might i add is very good), you say that the RC Victoria / Upholder Class Project will guard the waters against drug-smugglers, illegal fishing and polluters. How does it do that?

Best Regards

Weeeelllllll.... I yanked that text right from the Canadian Navy website, so I'm not exactly sure. I'd like to think that if the sub sees illegal fishermen poaching our waters, they'd torpedo the bastards, but I'm thinking that a stiff warning is more likely.

The sight of a military submarine surfacing off your bow might make them think twice about whether or not they're in the clear to fish or not. Not exactly a glamorous job, but useful.

The most likely use for the sub is to preserve the security of our borders on the east and west coasts. We'll have three on the east and one on the west, once they all get operational, that is. Victoria is currently down for scheduled maintenance, so if you're planning an invasion against Canada, you'd better hurry!

The Upholder class subs are actually one of the most able subs in the world today. Diesel-electrics are whisper quiet, far more so than nuke boats. The Canadian subs have also seen extensive upgrades to the weapons and sensor systems over how they were originally bought. With fewer resources for an extensive military, we usually make sure that the boats we do put out are amongst the world's most advanced in technology and training.

I thought you might have done, but I was curious aswell.

I can't imagine a sub surfacing next to a boat to establish why it's where it is. And even if the boats is commiting illegal acts, what the hell would it do to it?

Two subs with one depth charge.......

It's because it is at on a remote system, not a local one.

Bando,
Is your boat a Engle George Washington? Have you run it yet? Did you modify anything in the kit?
