Ohhhh man that's a horrible video! The guy just has to stand there and watch! The cameraman says something very fitting towards the end .... "Ohhh scheizer ...." .... I don't think we need a translator to work out what that means. ... similarly what the pilot is saying at the end of the video when the end of the word is cut off!

Edit: Why couldn't the guy cut the throttle from the radio?

A Post that i didnt want to make

Well as I have been reading through this thread over the last 6 mounths sniggering at every ones bad luck It would not be right for me not to let others have there turn to snicker at me when my nummber finally came up

How it hapend was I was getting quite confident at flying around ( sound farmiliar ) and decided aerobatics would be the next chalenge starting with loops and stall turns nice and high as was realy only learning aeros. Well I pulled up for a stall turn cut the throtle and when went to aply power the motor had cut out. To easy an nother dead stick landing the super decathlon glided very well and I had done about 7 dead stink landings in the previous mounth with no damage or excitement, on this ocasion i was turning base and looking into the sun and could only see a silouet didnt know if i was cumming or going as i was trying to figure it out stall and spin and before I could recover the ground got in the way!!

A pile of balsa in the back of the car is never a good sign it gives ya the sikening feeling. But on the brighter side a new progect to start on.

Some interesting pics.
Nice photoshopping on the second one of the Me 262 after nose wheel collapse.
The fourth one is from a competion where they do lawn darts on purpose at a
target - those gliders must be tough hombres.

More great finds as usual Kiwi! I've seen the car and the Me262 ones, but the roof landing and the lawn dart are great! The fuselage for that lawn dart looks so flimsy though! I wonder what sort of speed it was going at when it buries itself in the ground?

This is a video from when I tried to mount a camera on the rudder. I am not sure if it was the messed up airflow or possibly an aft CG that made things uncontrollable, but I know for sure that I am very glad my neighbor planted soybeans nextdoor!

There was no damage to the plane whatsoever.... thank goodness.

Yeah, looks quite real. Heres some more pics from the same flight that ended so badly. I think they managed to repair it and get it flying again. The scale Me 262 undercarriage is apparently a bit dodgey on grass - theres a few pics in the following post of another that bit the dust.
