Throwing it around as usual, 3 foot off the deck full throttle inverted passes and such rolled out to do my favourite turn which goes as such, go vertical, rotate 180 degrees, nice big loop to come back down along the run way (dont forget that the throttle is an all or nothing affair, felt soft on the elevator had to hold full up just to actually stop from going down and into the trees at the end of the runway. Went off like a 40 size party popper

I've seen in a couple of threads where when nothing is left but the tail people have mounted it on a plaque on the wall like a hunting trophy.

Sorry to hear about your plane. Which one was it? Not the Cub?
I have a 33% edge 540 tail on my wall...

Yeah, my Dad fixed it and figured out how it fly's. Now we have a 1/4 scale S.E.5a that my Dad lets me fly alone. The little park flyer to 1/4 scale. My Dad is going to get a 1/3 scale one too.

Here are some of my favorite rebuilds. Collected over the years.

My favorite is the B-17 rebuild. A multiplex cargo B-17 conversion. RX pack conked out on me and she banked nicely into the runway. I was numb until I put her back together.

As for the E-Flite P-47... not long ago those things were so treasured by foam warbird lovers that it had to be reduced to powder before you would give up on one!

The Piper Lance Air Art is a scratchbuild of my Dad's real-life plane.

The JU-52 is a scratchbuild from cardboard. Over the years that thing has been through so much abuse but MAN carboard is tough!

Scroll down on this site, about 7 pictures down, six pictures set like a video.

It looks like a turbine powered Komet biting the dust. Now that's a crash, and fire ball.
