I used to race IC pylon so I'm quite used to quick models. The thing with the Micro Jet is that it seems faster than it really is, because of the small size. I doubt mine was much over 100 mph in a dive.
There's some video here if you're interested:
Taken in light rain and geting dark, bumpy conditions (so all the camera picked up was wind noise, hence the music soundtrack). Adam couldn't follow it on full power so that was nearly all throttled back
I saw your video. Great fun indedd!
Now, my "mega 16/15/3 solution" seems very reasonable while I was still considering it "insaine" yesterday !
So bill, what do you think I should do : Go for a 76 grammes Mega 16/15/3 (with 3 LiPos 2000) or try a lighter motor of the same power (BUT : Does it exists ??? )
Have you tried the Mega 400 ? The Mega 24-3650 ?
thanks and congratulation for the video and the... mastering of this beast
