Use 6 channel transmitter with 4 ch rcvr?

I have a 4 channel receiver and wonder if I can use it with a 6 channel transmitter. If I do, which transmitter controls will be active on the receiver. I assume it will be the two joysticks. Is this right?

Sure will be. remember functions 1-4 are on the joysticks. Flaps, gear and whatever else use the higher channels.

It should not be a problem. Look at your transmitter instruction manual and whatever function channel 1 does on your transmitter then plug the appropriate servo into channel 1 of your receiver. Just do that for all of the channels and things will be fine.
