Good timing I guess. It would be fun to scale down the Astro-Hog plans there to use with old PZ Micro P-51 guts.

What are you going to build?

I am deciding which model to build for an event called Dime Scale. This event is for scale models kits that were sold by companies like Comet back in the 30s and 40s for 10 cents hence the name. The event is limited to 16" span model or less and has to be built to the plan.

This is the contest I am going to be flying it in.

I have downloaded a few plans and will decide shortly which one. It is going to be a biplane but not sure which one yet.

Do you mind doing a build thread? The plans look simple, yet I wasn't sure how to start the fuselage on a build like that. HPA has a lot of good material. (Retracts in a rubber-band powered FF!)

that plane looks to be a good one, Don. under cambered wing, nice round wing tips, long enough for a bunch of rubber, low parts count.....yep, good choice.

I will do a build thread. I will be starting it in the next day or so. Have to select my wood first.

Are you looking to build for a specific event, I was aiming at Dime Scale since there is no judging for that event.
