Does anybody have proof of their 24inch wing going over 100mph

I've been reading threads on the flying wing forum and it seems that there are quite alot of people claiming to hit 100mph with small wings and another group of non believers.

I don't want to start a flame war

I'm just curious to see a video , maybe one with a radargun attempt as a bonus.

I'd like to have a small wing too going 150 km/h (90mph i guess)

The fastest i've flown was my pcw on 150+watts which did 130km/h something out of a vertical dive.

I use the somewhat dodgy doppler measurement technique to obtain a speed reading

pretty sure I have a 20" wing to fit the bill. Racing a 36" wing on a 12cell faup pack, leaves him far behind, and that plane was radared at 135 so I was told. All acomplished on a 2cell lipoly

Here's some video. These are 90+ MPH on bushnell radar gun. Stock wings, not custom. You can buy these yerself, prebuilt or in a kit.

Since you can buy these combat wings off the shelf to go over 90MPH, you know that the guys in this forum can build custom wings that go much faster. tuned to specific motor-battery-wing configurations. Especially when people build their own power plants to fit their applications.

Slave to the Bean
My cousin's uncle's brother's roomate's girlfriend held a radar gun on an ezipper that i cut down to about 10.5 inches and was racing against a 68 chevelle at the bonneville salt flats, but i loaned the video to this guy I know and his dog ate it. that thing was definately haulin a#$ though...VIDEO, people, we demand freakin video! Hearsay and speculation will not quench poor mattijs321's curiousity for some small wing speed action. help the poor guy out, eh?
