Crazy Max with Flaps

When I made it I used two servos for the Ailerons so not having much to do today I switched it to the new radio and put in Flaps. Only went about hafe throws on the flaps any one tried this or should I mix Flaps and Elev. so I won't get the pitch up or is it pitch down ???

Be careful of the amount of flap you give it, it doesn't take much (I know from personal experience). Also, give the elevator a slight amount of "up" when the flaps go down. My first try at this I had too much flap deflection and too much elevator and when I threw the switch on landing approach the CrazyMax performed and incredibly tight loop almost instantaneously ... Yikes!
Take care,

Start High

I did 25% flaps on my Virus 400A, but it had a 57" wingspan and a bigger plane. I started with 15, but it wasn't enough. I didn't have to add any up elevator, it simply slowed the plane down. Just practice up high in case your plane has an allergic reaction.
