Well, I had to build it....I didn't say wind it though
The way I'm doing it, is an idea by my friend Luke:
Retap the mounting holes to 2-56 and chow out a section of
the back plate for wire clearence.
Then make a 1/16' ply motor mount

http://www.aircraft-world.com/shopexd.asp?id=1994

This makes these shockeys go VERTICLE and fly for over 15 min
on a 700mah 3s Lipo with a 6x5 prop

Not bad for a $20 motor!

Dave,

Is that 3mm or 6mm depron?

Looks great. I'm going to have to try one of those motors.

What 's the source Dave, is this a kit, a converted SU-27 Shockflyer, or scratch built? How about some dementions, looks about the size of the small'er shockie.

I'm doing many jets along those same lines and will eventually draw up F-15
plans after I finish the one I'm just starting (#2 after the F-35C).
