That's a nice looking model. Is it a kit or your own design?

Hello everyone!! I continue assembling the LA-7. Today it's time for the wing. If you have anything interesting, ask. Best regards.

Hi Pinchuk,

Beautiful design. Builds quickly, too.

Nice job. The Adrian Britton type wing construction reduces the framing work, once the builder ensures that everything is straight before gluing the bottom sheet. Reminding me of what I had first in the warbird build cue, before I got on a kick of converting seldom to never done Sterling warbirds. One of my favorite warbirds, while for some reason I never got around to it.

The plane (LA-7)was drawn a long time ago and was waiting for its time. Here I simplified the wing assembly even more. Best regards.

Not much progress? You build an entire model in the time it takes me to decide how to hinge an elevator!

I really like the idea of using notches in the wing skin to locate the spar and ribs. I'll have to remember that.

Very nicely done Pinchuck, and a great choice of subjects! Looking forward to seeing the completed model which is surely going to be a head turner. The overall shape of the airplane reminds me very much of a little 32" span Yak-11 that I built many years ago.

Greetings to all! After a short break, I continued assembling the LA-7. I cut off and put on the ailerons, glued the fairings of the wings, bubbles over the cannons and tried on the oil cooler. Best regards.

Greetings, Chad. I saw your Yak-11. I understand that there were several scales. A beautiful plane, but I did not dare to make my own drawings. Perhaps I will find time in the future. Best regards.
