But your feet show it, because their Longfellow's!! (Sorry but with a 5 and 3 year old at home these things just come out )

I'm pretty satisfied with the plane but the wing strut things are proving to be a pain in the butt. I'd leave them off but the plane but the wing is pretty flimsy and it does really add strength. Besides it just wouldn't look right w/o them. Guess we'll find out Sunday.

The GP YAK 55 is complete. A few "firsts" for me...

First Dual Rate setup
First Lipo and Lipo charge (after eveything I read, I was pretty sure I was going to burn the house down)
First Brushless Motor
First use of Castle Link.

Castle Link is a pretty cool PC application that allowed me to hook the Phoenix 25 to my PC via a USB connection. After trying to program it using the radio, I have to say this was a pretty good investment. If anyone would like to borrow the cable, just let me know on Sunday.

That PH-Link is great, I like being able to change the direction of the motor so I can just go ahead and solder my speed controller to the motor without concern about the direction it's spinning and if it's wrong just change it with the PC

diddlerod is alive. finished up tonight and the winds look good for a maiden flight at lunch tomorrow.
if i don't fly the diddlerod, i'll fly the squirt. i can hardly wait to hear the comments from my co-workers about my pink plane.

i got to finish up two rubberband jobs then i'll go into the "winter build phase". that means my family won't be seeing much of me (only when i crawl out of the black hole/basement)

This will be the motor for my MicroJet- It's a GBx Double stator wound with 7 turns of 22g wire (looks like 8 in the picture but I don't count the last half turn)
