CRRC PRO 55cc twin
I have a CRRC PRO 55 cc twin gas engine that I would like to sell. I purchased this engine for a 1/4 scale biplane I recently finished. Bottom line is that I simply misjudged the engine size required for my project, and while sufficient to fly it, id like to find one more suitable, likely in the 70 cc range. Consequently, I won’t be needing this one anymore as I don’t have room for too many large planes.
I purchased it new several years ago. It starts easily, runs very well, and for an engine with about a gallon of fuel through it, idles extremely well. It will include all components , manual, and original box. I would like $230 o.b.o. for it, shipped and insured, securely packaged. The pics of it are mounted on my aircraft. I will try to add a video link of it running. As mentioned, it has just over a gallon of ethonol free gas thru it. Pay pal preferred, please ask any questions before accepting. Link to operation:
Thanks Darryl |

WOW! Nice Waco Taper-wing! I agree with you on the engine size comment, sir. I have the same engine. They're really good engines, like you said, but a Zenoah G-62cc to Saito FG-73R5 would make it put on quite a show! Great-looking aircraft. Good luck with your sale. Blue Skies!

CRRC Pro 55cc twin
Darryl, Zenoah GT-80 twin - if it will fit in the cowl. I love these engines. Smooth running, powerful, no ign. unit or battery required. John R.

I appreciate the compliments and suggestions guys, it has been a long project indeed.
While I would love the Saito Radial, unless I win the lottery, that just isn’t an option. Lol Right now I’m leaning towards a DLE 70 twin, an EME 70 twin, or the Valley View RC 70 twin. I have seen all of these in action at my former club field, and they would all work nicely. The EME even has an onboard electric start option. All are Basically the same footprint as the current engine, and little modification would be required. D |
