I'm in the middle of selling my house and moving to another state, but when I get settled, I'll be ordering one.

I recieved my Stuntman 23 from WillyNillies yesterday. Very good wood in the kit. Item was boxed very well and fit in my std mailbox. Good value for the cost. I look forward to building this when the weather cools off here in North Carolina......Gene

When I was mere lad (1960's) the appearance , and performance of a '23 confirmed my opinion of typical 1/2A CL design, at the time, simply needed more wing area! "Stuntman" is fitting.

Carl Goldberg was a brilliant model designer/innovator. His highly successful Shoestring, 'l Jumping Bean, and 'l Satan kits attest to his business sense.

I was part of a very small group gathered, around Mr. Goldberg, at an RC contest, where I heard him state that the release of the CL profile Shoestring kit saved his firm from impending financial failure!

That's fascinating. Maybe "shoestring" was a description of how tight things were at CG at the time!

Well i was between builds and decided to build my Stuntman 23 this weekend for one of my 1/2A engines. It assembled in about 3 hours from taking it out of the package. Very nice kit for the money. The wood in my kit was excellent and lite. I decided to keep this as lite as possible, so after assembly, i brushed on several coats ofclear Brodak butyrate. For trim colors i used colored tissue applied with more butyrate. Going to put one of my golden bees on this one....Gene

I added the canopy and leadout lines and put on one of my Golden Bees. I weighed it ready to fly weight is 6.3 oz. Should be a good flyer.....Gene

Thanks. The tissue really sped things up and added some color too. I have less than 10 hours total in this. I need to se up a set of .008 lines for it and a Hot Rock handle yet. I'll throw it in the truck when i go to the field next time and see how it flies. .....gene

Really Nice and have a Cox Blackwidow to suit it too.

But I have noise restrictions around my area. Will it perform as well on electric motor? Same performance? Which motor from your website would you recommend?

Real cool kit!
