Today, I have received wingkit with plan and manual for Introduction F5J. I feel more good to have a backup wing. This will stay like kit until will be necessary to be mounted. It is more easy to store in house . Sure I bought the cover film, same color, 3 meters.

Bonjour Jean-Luc, these gliders (having two) are very special for me. I use from 2016, only rc glider with two channels (rudder and elevator).
Introduction F5J is a glider with 2 channel (rudder and elevator), flaps/brakes not be counted. I can use my pilot skills.

Backup wing, it is a consequence of my profession. In IT backup is essential !

I order too from France an "Moteur brushless XPower F2915/12 F5J XLIGHT TITANIUM - 72g", to have a backup for motor.

And next step, is to order UBEC 5V/6A and Flycolor 1pcs Raptor SLIM 40A 2-4S BLHeli-S ESC 3 in 1 Driver (like ESC).

I think that Introduction F5J will be my favorit glider for next years.

Motor choice: out of specs, your choice for the motor look to be very interesting in terms of wires access

Regarding the Ubec's i am not very familiar even thought i fly various models.

I hope to think the same, that this F5j would be the great favorite glider for next years and if after maiden i love it , i will feel extremely happy of this building experience (with your help :-)

For spares, i share your point of view, i do the same for my other models.

I use like ESC:

Flycolor Raptor SLIM 40A 2-4S ESC Brushless Speed Controller BLHeli-S Dshot for RC Racing Quadcopter ( 9.1 grams) - without BEC !

and because this ESC do not have BEC, I use one external:

UBEC Output 5V / 6V 6A / 8A Max 12A Inport 7V-25.5V 2-6S Lipo (14 grams) - used with 5V/6A, enough for rx and 4 servos.

Until now, in practice, this setup work fine.

Thanks dear Popad, i have to study all that as it is chinese for me :-) but i keep track of your infos.

in my side i will use the OEM recommended Hacker X 20 pro brushless controller including a BEC ( quite expensive) but being not specialist i took the safe side :-) - The motor i use is Hacker A20-22L (expensive too)

Conclusion: glider "Introduction F5J" is a floater. I'm happy !

At flight field ... launch 80-90 meters height, 2 minutes gliding, then landing ... rehearsal ... and so an hour passed ... Finally a landing very close to the "spot" ...
