End blocker of control rod
I try to find an end blocker of control rod bend at 90 degrees, because E/Z Link is too small in my case.
I have tried to make one. Was succesfully. Then I made more, to have for use. |

Hello Popad,
on post 153 you wrote: "I try to find an end blocker of control rod bend at 90 degrees, because E/Z Link is too small in my case." I tried those E/Z links O.81 mm on my rod (not yet bended at 90 deg) and it seems ok . Did I miss something ?? By the way it is true that they are very small and we can loose them easily during assembly, good to have spares Out of this your alternate solution is interesting I am on step 37 on the built / external wings beginning - I started 08 march so approx 1 month ago. |

I made some photos. Control thickness is too large for E/Z Link 0.81 mm. But my solution work very fine. |

Last operations before going to the airfield.
I checked the direction of rotation of the motor shaft. One was good, the other was good. The problem has been fixed. Then I fixed with CA gel the locking ends of the control rods, less for elevator, which is detachable. There I have another solution for blocking. |

First was balanced at post #95.
Thought to thought .Today I mount both gliders, and re-check first, and check too if second is same balanced like the fisrt one. Ready to fly, with 11"x6", and battery lipo 3S 1400 mAh 40C CG is just to 87-90 mm like in manual. Moving little battery you can adjust with milimeter CG. Fisrt RTF have 1006 grams, second 1000 grams. Thanks for the wishes ! I'm waiting a day with wind until 10 km/h for first flight for trimming. |

I use the same multiplex like CG balance ... since 1 st day i used it I saw i real difference in flights set up's - Perfect tool. Good to know that CG is easy to adjust ( from my side i reached step 51 ) battery lipo 3S 1400 mA ?? is it per choice or for CG adjustment necessity ? |

The first tests
Today, wind 8- 10 km/h, first flying tests. Only gliding from 2 meter, against wind. Best result was 60-61 meter. The thrust of the engine with the 11 "X6" propeller feels good in the hand.
It was also a test of transport, assembly and disassembly of the glider. Here is a sequence of pictures in this regard. I try a SQ8 camera but after 13 minutes it stop to record. The best flight not recorded. May be next time. (I will mod SQ8 for external battery). First impressions, I feel it like a big RES glider. I will be to spend some time to feel accommodate with these gliders. |
