That's a nice craft! I like the blue.

I dont think that one is powered by a pager motor, IE is disqualified in this sticky (Working Pager Powered Models).....

Thanks. The motor is 10x15mm - I thought that was pager class but perhaps I am wrong. If so, where should I post it?

You give it it's own thread! :-)
BTW Pager-class were originally the 6mm and 4mm variety coreless motors, and later came to include the 7mm coreless variety and the cored 6mm motors which have the same outer appearence of the 6mm coreless motors.

90% or so of the WPPM entries are 15g (1/2oz) or less. I dont know who for certain, but Peter Smart and myself hold the fattest WPPM entries (mine is about 50g, I just went and measured the parts I have left from it).

I noticed in a 'closed thread' that some are using 2mmX6mm and 2mmX7mm pagermotors. Any info on manufacturer or distributors? Thanks,Keith

No such motors exist. Must be a typo. There are motors which are 6mm and 7mm in diameter, but are around or longer than 1cm.

I have a 3.2mm diameter one from Shicoh and I heard that they once made a 2.8,so I thought maybe there was a source again.

Well I have smaller motors than the dimensions you mentioned myselft (4mm diameter) so while it is a HUGE step down to 2mm diameter I assume that it may not be a typo.

Again: Do you have a link to that dead thread you mentioned. I would like to read it myself. Thank you.

Here is the link to that dead thread. First entry and third from bottom (Motors 2x6mm and 2x 7mm pager motor, respectively).:

Maybe they took a 3.2mm and stripped off the case.-Keith

Oh... ok. From my understanding the posts refer to using TWO 6mm and 7mm motors and not to motors with 2x6/2x7mm dimensions

Yes, Shicoh made a 2.8mm pager. Here's the proof!

Yeah,my source for the 3.2mm told me he wasn't sure if or when the 2.8mm would be available again.

The 3.2mm can be bought from Koichi here: http://translate.google.com.au/trans...%3Den%26sa%3DG

Koichi just got some new stock in so he should have quite a few available.
For international orders you must email him with the excel order form whic you can download from his site.

Ive scoured the web for the 2.8mm and theres only a few pages linking to 2.8mm Shicoh motors, none of which are useful to us. I think it was a limited production run anyway.

Theres a couple of builders here who will fill us in more on the 2.8mm shicoh
