If you bought an HB CP2 on Ebay from Ucetech with a Li-Poly battery--

I was curious about the "C" rating of the 11.1v 1050Mah packs because I may want to use the packs in other applications, so I emailed them with the question.

Hello,
I received my ESky 2 6ch Helicopter in perfect condition. Thank you for the prompt shipping.
I have a question about the 11.1v 1050 mah battery. Can you tell me the safe discharge rate in amps or "C"?

Thank you very much.

it means the manufacturer recommends a max current draw of (continuously or max?) amps out of that battery.

8C * 1.050Ah = 8.4 amps
