Maidened my viper yesterday evening. I’ve never been so impressed with a foamy jet as I have with the eflite viper. Wow it really hauls!

The other option is if you still have the stock RX (637T). For sure, it should show up on your IX12. If that's the case, then it's the 8020T that's the problem.

I am waiting for Fedex to decide to be nice and drop off my Viper that has been stuck in Tracy CA for a few days now. So me no have the 637T to play with. I do have an Avian 100A and the 8020T Rx to prepare for my SU-30 reverse thrust set up and hence I need to know how to do it on my IX12 for the Viper too!

Maybe, I haven´t checked really.. also I kinda want the Eflite version due to I´ve got Spekky things.. sure I could swap out fms stuff for Spektrums.
I´m not into that blackish color the FMS have, I like my Vipers white ;-)
Mine is on preorder since 22/6 so.. I can wait until I get it.

Tail - this is the exact opposite of our J10 experience! Eh! Wow. I absolutely was amazed as well with this model. But I must say that they started with a great design and airframe / HSD 90mm Viper also flies amazing, Eflite stepped up on the electronics and packaging and delivery of quality. Must say congrats to Jason M and Eflite team on this one.

You’re spot on friend. I’ve never had a edf out of the box perform like this. It really goes. Verticals are impressive. As you said we already knew viper jets fly awesome. But to perform the way it does makes this the best on the market right now I think.

So, update for EU, I got in touch with HH EU, and the answer I got was to ask them again in November as they didnt know yet when the Viper would be aviable. So no viper this season 🤔😱

I have a new freewing 90mm 1900kv 9 blade and the freewing 130esc and the ar620 rx sitting around so bought the pnp viper used 25 dollars worth of points to make it a bit easer on my wallet. Hopping it flys as well on my fan as the 600 dollar option. Should have it ready by next week. I didnt read the 1200 threads , has anyone else tryed the pnp?

It'll be great to compare notes with the stock set up!

I think stock set up is a 1950kv 12 blade but not sure as hh keeps info to a minimum lol

Yep, got the PNP and put the 90mm 1900kV 9 Blade along with the FW 130A ESC. Due to circumstances, I've only flown it a few times but observers who have BNF Vipers say mine is certainly as fast as theirs. I'm happy with the choice.

I'm really new to large EDFs, so these discussions are interesting but not real meaningful to me. But I did notice the following information in the sale ad for the Viper on the HH site.
