New 2 speed tranny spitting metal shavings / dust!
Hi all,
So I've never actually had metal on metal gears before so I just don't know what is 'normal'. The transmission came from China already assembled, I installed it, lubed it, and after running it for < 5 minutes I was scared because there is a decent amount of metal shavings + dust (see pics). Just wondering, I would assume a small amount of this would be normal, but maybe not. What should I be doing? Thanks |

Pretty sure those aren't metal shavings, it's just lube being thrown around
