Hobby shops in Paris, France?

Can anyone tell me if they know of any model shops in Paris, France? I will be there for about 9 days with some extra time to look around a little. Thank you. Jesse

I know there is a rather big one in a small shopping center above the parking garage next to the Gare de Lyon, next to the river. It's a bit difficult to find, as it's actually at the end of a narrow halway which branches off of the main shopping promenade next to a small sandwich shop. I don't have a name or an address. But its a rather big shop. And if you're used to US prices I'm reasonably certain you'll probably need to be resuscitated shortly after walking into the shop (but that probably applies accross much of Europe)....

Shops in FRANCE?

Zag,
Look for the building with a large Army Tank on the top.
The tank will have back-up lights and a white flag...
Just kidding, never been to Paris, just Cannes. I wasn't looking for a hobby shop when I was there.

Oh please, can we get over this French bashing - it's getting really old.

The exchange rate is not in you favour and model shops in a capital always tend to be more expensive than those in the sticks. You could try to PM Jean Michel Quetin and ask him. His username is jmquetin - he lives in Paris.

Sunspot, since you feel you need to both post in this thread and PM me I have to respond. You are out of line here. First of all Zagabond was asking about shops in Paris and your reply had nothing to do with the question. Secondly you are assuming that I am German. I am not - I come from Denmark. But that is irrelevant here because the thread was not meant for a discussions about various nations involvement in Iraq. If you want to discuss that you can post about your hatred for the French and Germans in the LTU&P forum. I am truly sorry about the loss of your brother but I fail to see what that has to do with me. If bashing others helps you get over your loss then I feel even more sorry for you. You just make enemies instead of friends.
