Does anyone know where to buy a ACT BAT?
Been looking for this Bat wing from ACT in Germany. US distributor listed on their web site does not carry it. Been calling and faxing Germany-line always busy. The web site video shows a guy standing on the EPP foam wing.
I have several Zagis but would love to throw a brushless on this baby. http://www.acteurope.de/html/bat.html |

Looks like you are going to have to order it from Europe. The best price I found was <40Euro at www.rchobbyshop.de. I only found a couple of references to it on the web so you can be assured of not running into another one at the flying field.

Here's what it says:
"Forward swept wing geometry makes extreme flight conditions possible and results in an absolutely uncritical outline behavior, it it is not possible to bring the model in wobbling. Like that senkrechte of bag flights and/or aircraft carrier landings is problem-free possible. An only 10% thick profile, together with one for speed trunk geometry, made possible also with a speed 400 drive already very high airspeeds optimized with low-speed characteristics protruding at the same time. Fast turning maneuvers are without travel dismantling possible, thus are ASKED the optimal aircraft for fox hunt and ComBAT. The model consists of only 4 large individual parts, which are EPP shaped parts with ABS stampings combined, thus is the model insensitively with the landing and the construction period extremely short. Technical data: Span: 80 cm Length: 48 cm Flying weight: starting from 450g Flat steel bar contents: 17,6 dmē Flat steel bar load: 30-40g/dmē receiver engine: Speed 400-480 or brushless Akku: starting from 7 cells 1000mAh to 8 cells 1200 SCR or Lipoly (1)" (1) http://www.rchobbyshop.de/shop/detail.php?id=729 You might try sending them an email in English and see if you get lucky. m.muetherig@rchobbyshop.de |
