As far as I can see, the model must be easy to build, isn't it?
I hope it flies as good as it looks

I will first soaring this ship on the slope, I think all the glider should no problem to fly with power. Just try my best to keep the wing loading light.

Hi Ming,

Nice plane! I'm VERY interested but would really like it if we could see some
inflight pics and/or video. It's a beautiful plane, but the weight has me
concerned a bit. I can build my own version with depron and it's so much lighter
in comparison to 32 oz for your's as a glider... that's pretty heavy.

Some good looking flight video may just sell me though.

Thanks

IMHO it's not too heavy. The Robbe BAe weighs more with equal/smaller span...
Looks sweet Ming!

EPP doesn't have as nice of a surface finish as EPS (expanded polystyrene) but it it more durable. Neither foam looks as nice as a smooth fiberglass surface, but it's cheaper to injection mold something than make it with wet glass layups in molds.

EPP and EPS can be covered in low temp film though and look pretty good, if you put the film on at a low enough tempurature not to make the foam beads show through. Zagis are of course fairly easy to cover since they are mostly a flat wing but they look much better in iron on covering that 30 pieces of colored tape.
