thanks, can you tell where it's at? Max foil thickness?
https://www.hyperflight.co.uk/img/p/...1m-dlg-280.jpg I really don't think i'll be able to see thru the painted fiberglass.. |

The normal location. Is at about 1/3 chord tapering slightly rearward to just forward if the center of the tip. Looks to be a strip of carbon about 10mm width top and bottom.
Max thickness looks to be less than 10mm. Having to eyeball it of course as wing is already joined. Chord is 145mm. I did measure that. |

.. I'm going to be using some random ass servos in my dart, and probably a non-standard servo installation, and I wanted to know the size of the tray so I could print one or ten out and try some different configs, i have even considered stacking the servos or 4, 5 gram servos laid flat like your latest build.. and maybe after the Falcon is built, i'll mess more with the dart, i was asking earlier about the spar because Dart One had servos in the wing.. see where i'm going ??

Wow, looks like I got in just in time, before everyone else bought up all the stock!
Any flight reports with a MD2 would be cool to see here also. This weekend I went out for the first time in months (due to the lockdowns in Nova Scotia) to the local club’s field and got some good flying time in with my fibreglass Mini dart 2. It’s my first DLG and I was able to get into a couple of thermals; very exciting. It seemed to react very well to the thermal mode and liked to keep a little speed up, but it sure climbed up well. I have been throwing it around a little bit this morning before work, but the grass is wet and there isn’t much thermal action quiet so early as this. Perhaps during my morning coffee break. |

I’m planning on having the front two servos staggered outboard of the centered rear aileron servos. Pull wires running down the sidewalls of the interior of the fuse that way.
Or maybe the exact opposite so the pull wires run down the center. Will have to play with it a bit. |

Why not just get four servos that fit nicely into the tray? No muss, no fuss! I got four ES9051s to fit with a little work. |
