Triple Tree 2021

From Triple Tree

We sure do miss seeing everyone. With the rollout of vaccines, there is hope on the horizon. It's up to each of us to continue to do our part. To tide us over, we wanted to share the many exciting things that have happened at Triple Tree and will happen in the future!

Recently we received some great publicity from AVI Nation magazine. This article was the feature article for their Spring 2021 magazine. You can read the article by clicking here

We are also proud to share our 2020 impact report. This report is a wrap-up of the 2020 season. The report can be viewed here

In looking towards the future, Triple Tree recently made the difficult but correct decision to cancel the 2021 Joe Nall. These events involved thousands of our friends from across the globe and included numerous activities where proximity to others just couldn't be avoided. With our Fall 2020 Camp and Fly events' success, we received multiple requests to repeat those small-size events for the Spring of 2021 for our Radio Control Community.

Although we can never replace the festive atmosphere of Joe Nall Week, we can all responsibly enjoy this unique opportunity to enjoy Triple Tree and look forward to our 2021 Fall series of events. We have determined that we can open Triple Tree for fundraisers for a limited number of campsites in the Spring of 2021.

The weeks are as follows:

  • April 12-18
  • April 19-25
  • May 17-23

As of right now, these weeks are designated for our Radio Control Community. If these weeks are successful, we will plan on hosting additional fundraising event weeks in 2021 for both Radio Control and General Aviation.

These fundraising events went on sale on March 15, 2021, and will have limited capacity, and we will not be able to accommodate any walk-ins. Please visit our website, for information on how to reserve your campsite through Eventbrite!

These events will be just like the events we had in the Fall of 2020. The events are still intended for members of the aviation community and slightly different from our traditional events. We will not have meals, speakers, demos, or vendors. These fundraising events are intended to allow our aviation friends an opportunity to attend Triple Tree and look forward to the Fall events.

The suggested donation price varies between $400 for dry camping to $600 for premium camping for the week. (To help with our attendance reporting, we ask no more than 2 adults per campsite, this does not include children under 18. We will need a small number of volunteers to serve as campsite hosts to stay on property for the week. There will be minimal contact with the public but you will be onsite to help with any questions that may pop up during the week.

Speaking of the Fall, we want to have everyone mark their calendars now for the 2021 Fall events:

  • Triple Tree Fly-In September 20-26, 2021
  • Nall in the Fall October 2-9, 2021

Till then, stay well and we will keep everyone updated on what's going on at Triple Tree!
