I am sort of dissapointed that its $300. If it was around $200, i would buy it today. But since i can get the SMO camera for like $60-$70 less, i have decisions to make.

I much prefer this to the SMO, but they both basically serve the same purpose for me. I like the small form factor and the waterproofness of the GO, but I dunno if that is worth the extra $60.

It's a shame they had to make it so much heavier to make all the improvements. I felt like the v1 was more of a prototype or early adopter tech, this seems a lot more refined and improved.

$400 Canadian And the only place I see it for sale is directly from the insta360 store currently...

Otherwise it looks pretty awesome! There's nothing else that can record in that quality, in that size/weight range, correct?

I'm looking for something to strap onto my 3" quad. Currently have a GoPro knock-off camera that weighs just under 60 grams & surprisingly the quad can take the weight although very sluggishly. An under 30 gram cam would be SWEET!

Oh man they needed to make the lens inline so the camera doesn’t stick up in the air like a windsock.

Agree with both of you. Significantly heavier and $100 more expensive. It's a hard sell, for sure.

Will wait for the honest reviews to come out first as I got bit on V1. I like mine but the battery life is stupid, having to literally charge it just before you shoot video is a PIA. Charge case does not hold voltage. Hope they fixed, extended battery life on V2.

hmm - I think this is different than the SMO - the SMO is actually designed for FPV.

I think it is great this little guy can record for 30mins now, but how fast can you recharge in the field?

can we have the SMO in a different form factor please and maybe weather proof - I like the way that the SMO takes its power from the aircraft
