What are the dimensions of Tamiya M-chassis body post locations?
I'm designing an FWD chassis and would like it to use bodies from Tamiya M-cars as an option, but have no idea where the body posts are located relative to the wheelbase. Is there a diagram online that shows this?

I took some measurements from my M-03 chassis with mini cooper body. Post spacing is 70mm apart. Front is about 3-5mm behind front axle. Rear is about 20mm in front of rear axle. I can't get any better measurements as my body posts are badly beat up and warped, and there isn't an easy reference point I can measure against using a caliper.

Thanks. I ordered an M body with pre cut holes and will add them to the model.

I received a pre-cut Tamiya M-chassis body (Alfa Mito) and have figured out where the posts are in relation to the wheels. It's a 237 mm wheelbase body and now I wonder if the shorter wheelbase bodies have the same body post spacing. The distance between the front and rear posts is approximately 215 mm. Is it 215 mm on the short wheelbase (210 mm wheelbase) bodies as well?

Here's the situation with 237 mm wheelbase. The front body posts are 1 mm behind the front axle and the rear posts are 215 behind the front posts. Both rear and front are 70 mm apart center to center.

It drives well. Here's a video of the chassis in buggy form and then M-form without a body.

The tamiya m03 I have uses a chassis spacer to adjust wheelbase. The posts are always relative to the axles and the chassis spacer increases the length between body posts also.
