NZ Forum
Tim Drysdale uses this forum as I do(although obviously I'm not from NZ).
I liked the rcmodels forum but Steve made a total pigs ear of it by not paying his provider - according to LG who pulled the plug on him and us. As I've already told Tim, I was totally p***** off as I'had only just completed my website, and now I've lost that too. Tony |

Oh dear!
Lost your website?! - not good - why not just throw it onto Geocities or similar?
I got the feeling that Steve M wasn't paying the bills - a reall shame - not just the fact that lots of sites are gone - the forums had some awesome info that would seem lost forever. Perhaps the new CS website/forums will resurrect the data from archive?! |

Hi SlopeKing
I am in Auckland but have been out of Aeromodelling for some years. Have been around the Parkflyer, small scale Forums , but each time I put my head our the door its seems the wind is more suited to Slope Flying. With all the ex-volcanic cones in Auckland , and cliffs overlooking beaches Slope Soaring would seem to be a more sensible way to get the most flying days. More practical bouncy models too. Have been looking at Caterbury Sailplanes kits as a starter Pity about rcmodels.com I was following Auckland Soar newsletters etc. Hope they find another site soon. All the Best Peter. |

Thanks for the reply 'junkie. Of course I hadn't backed up the website so lost it. I particularly liked the WebNow system of building a site so I now need to go back to more lengthy ways. However my ISP provides web space so I'll have to get on with it.
I like the http://www.rc-soaring.com/ site - thanks for putting it up Tony |

Hi,
My Partner Ian & I fly slope off various sites around Hastings, but mostly on Te Mata Peak. We are flying our own design Aermachi's at present but will soon try our hands at an own design slope racer of some sort. Just need more building time..... We mostly fly electrics at our local Hawkes Bay Radio Flyers club but need to get out and do a bit more slopeing. Heather |
