Riva Aquarama

Gidday,
I have just purchased a plan for a riva aquarama. It has been suggested that i look at installing 2 x 21 engines in it. Any thoughts. I am a novice and have scratch built some control line aircraft many years ago and keen to get back into it.
Cheers

Dongledell did a really great job building his Riva.
I believe he powered it with a single electric.
Perhaps you can compare your proposed scale with what he built and get some ideas.

Riva Aquaram

Yes I have seen the marvelous job he did. I still havent decided how far i will scale it up. Currently been scratch building a cat. Its turning out to be quite a size. I was thinking that it would be economical to run two 21 size engines so i was looking at scaling it so as to give me the room for the motors, while still mainaining the performance. It will be a long term project. I would just prefer the nitro engine as opposed to electric.

Thanks for your help. Will keep you informed of how its going
Cheers
