Stork 2 Pro - how to instal 10 cell pack (akku.)

I am looking for input from other modelers how they instal batter packet in their big electric moto gliders like Stratos or Stork 2 Pro or Elipse. Especialy I am interested in those big 10 -14 cell packs? For up to 6-7 cell I used velcro but 10 -14 cell packet is heavy and shifting packet will affect C.G. of the model so accident is possible. Please advise , How you secure it ,so it will not move back and forth? Do you build plywood try or not?
Any comments or pictures will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

I used a plywood tongue with velcro running its length. Holds 10xgp3000 or 14x2200 with no issues in 18 months flying.

Stork 2Pro -how to install 10 cel akku. pack

Hallo Dave,
Thank you for quick reply.Have you glued tonge in the fuslage permanently or can you remove it together with motor in nose cone? Also, is it level or at angle? For instance in Elipse 4 you can slide in and out whole nose cone with motor ,esc and akku try which come in one piece from factory and akku sits verticaly instead of horizontal position. (quiet simle and quiet good idea by Jaro Muller.)All you have to do is , just put hard foam between motor and akku and you are set to go.

I use both the 7-cell & 10-cell in my graphite using the tongue method. I also run a little FG tape around the cells, besides velcroing them to the sticks. Securing the tongue in the fuse with bolt/blind nut.

Mine is glued in. The plywood is bevelled at the sides to make it fit flusher with the fuselage. It works but its fairly fragile and far from artistic.

See this thread for a photo and a better way to do it.
