1/4 scale Stinson SR-9 build

Thought I would post this here and on the other site. It is my "Just finished" 1/4 scale SR-9 from Richard Barron plans. WS 125", Pwr G-62, Wt 32 lbs. Weather and family permitting, plan to fly it this week end.

Great looking plane. You did a killer job on the covering also.
Got a friend at the field that has been trying to sell one that he hasn't finished building.I too would like to know how she flys

???,

Is your friend's plane the Top Flight 1/5 scale or is it 1/4 scale? The Top Flight is a very nice kit, but the 1/4 scale version, scratch built is a bit more accurate. Either way they are like big trainers.

It's the Top flight. I think it had a 100" ws if I remember right. He said he got about 1/2 way throgh the kit and just doesn't have the time to finish it.
