Vintage Planes in Central Pennsylvania

Hello all,

Im not a pattern flying guy, but I have a chance to buy out an old pattern flyers estate of planes, radios, and engines. Everything here is dated to pre 2.4 radio time. There are no kits, but a lot of stuff to discuss and consider. (I fly electric only for the last 20 years)

Im looking for someone who may be interested in buying this stuff, all that I am interested in is one or two semi complete planes. There is more than a pickup load of stuff here.

Soooo.... PENNSYLVANIA guys, anyone interested? PM me with your phone number please.

Thanks

Jesse

There are 7 transmitters Futaba and JR, all vintage... some empty cases too. NO 2.4 anything. Maybe the doorbell.....

Wow... there seems to be quite a few pattern kits, built, unbuilt, and in between.

There is only one complete kit, but minus instructions. The others are used and or unfinished airframes. Some balsa, some glass. Lots of them.

My problem is if I buy this to sell, just how do you ship such items??

I would be interested in some or all of the engines and JR radios, possibly some airframes

Shipping the airframes is very difficult due to dimensional weight of the box, the last pattern kit I shipped a few years back was a Conquest 7 and that was $200 UPS, cant imagine what it would be at today's rates.

Normally the Lebanon swap meet would be your best bet to offload airframes but it's cancelled for this year due to covid.
