Ideal Slow Flyer for Beginner

Hi Folks,

Can someone suggest a good trainer for a beginner to slow flight. I have lots of sim time, and some time in a glow trainer, and was looking for something easy to setup and easy to fly.

I've heard about the Litestick, but can't find where to buy it. I've also been to Horizon's web site and saw the Pico Stick and Pico Stick FD. Would these be suitable for a novice?

Thanks,
Bill

The Pico Stick is the same as the Lite Stick, and the Pico Stick FD is the same again, but with a foam fuselage.

All suitable for a novice, I'd go with the stick fuse for simplicity.

If you want something a bit slower than a LiteStik, easier to fly, and stronger, you might consider a DuskStik. You have to build it but it is quite easy to build and the instructions are written with beginners in mind. The manual is 17 pages.

The DuskStik uses the same motor as the LiteStik but has a built up wing with better aerodynamics so it's more efficient.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
